Dear MBS,

Thank you very much for your very differentiated and interesting assessment of the elections in India.  We have not yet received an assessment from any ICOR organization from the country itself, except for the candidate SUCI/ Communist. You describe very concretely and vividly how perfidiously and presumptuously Modi has staged a religious division and abused the religious feelings of both Hindus and Muslims. I share your assessment:

“Indian people could not digest Modi’s such kind of lowest standard propaganda to win the election, so they did not give him even a simple majority, let alone the question of above 400 seats. Our party salutes the Indian people’s verdict expressed through the vote. Their decision has defeated Modi’s reactionary aim of amending the Indian constitution, destroying secularism and establishing fascism.”
